Bacteriostatic Water is sterile water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol. It is the standard multi-use diluent used to reconstitute lyophilized (freeze-dried) research peptides, allowing a vial to be accessed repeatedly in the laboratory.
Purpose — Reconstitution
